Model tests at HSVA!
A while ago, we measured propeller flow on a real tanker using PIV, and now it's time to repeat these measurements in model scale under exactly the same conditions - speeds and draughts. We're conducting these model tests and PIV flow measurements at the famous Hamburgische Schiffbau-Versuchsanstalt GmbH - Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA).
We can't wait to compare the PIV wake flow results obtained from the model scale and ship scale cases.
