ITTC appreciates the JoRes project initiative

CFD Model Tests

One of the first companies to support the JoRes project was SSPA – the Swedish Maritime Research Institute in Goteborg. SSPA’s Dr Sofia Werner says: “as the chairman of ITTC Specialist Committee for CFD and EFD Combined Methods I appreciate this initiative. The lack of reliable full-scale data hinders the development of the next generation methods for ship propulsion prediction. In the end, this affects our ability to design energy efficient ship and reduce the CO2 emissions from shipping. We hope that many organizations and companies will join us in this initiative.”
