Nakashima Propeller Co joins the JoRes project

CFD Energy Efficiency

The JoRes project is happy to welcome Nakashima Propeller Co. Principal engineer, propulsion Performance Section Engineering Division, Mr Nobuhiro Hasuike explains:

“As Nakashima is providing the propellers and energy saving devices, our task is to maximise their efficiencies in full scale. We are expanding full-scale CFD capability with Software Cradle, part of MSC Software. For proving full-scale simulation, it is essential to have an industry recognised and independently assessed benchmarks. That is why both Nakashima and Cradle think it is very good timing and opportunity for the global industry to come together and contribute to the JoRes Joint Research Project.”
