The JoRes team is happy to see the famous DSME shipyard among the JoRes project participants! DSME’s Director and Head of Hydrodynamics R&D Department Mr Sung-pyo Kim explains: “At DSME we understand the value and importance of comprehensive ship scale data. We believe that the industry should join the efforts and collect PIV and propeller thrust data in ship scale. This will help the industry to better understand ship hydrodynamics, CFD capabilities and hence, it will build confidence to design better and greener ships.”
